Dr. Louis Mauna is the proud owner of Sendero Animal Hospital. Dr. Mauna has dedicated his life to providing compassionate care to his clients over his many years of practice. After graduating from UCLA in 1998, Dr. Mauna attended Ross University and completed his final year of veterinary school at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Dr. Mauna and his wife Kelly are proud parents to two beautiful children - Korie and Landen. In his spare time Dr. Mauna enjoys CrossFit and living an active lifestyle.
Dr. Sarah Singleton-Dorsey is our newest veterinarian. After doing a 1 year rotating internship at Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital (now Blue Pearl) we were lucky enough to hire her here, full time. Dr. Dorsey lives on Oceanside with her husband, their lab, Scout, and their 3 cats, Rocco, Elvis and Little Girl, and she also has a horse named Pedro. In her spare time Dr. Singleton-Dorsey enjoys reading, scuba diving, traveling, and having a good time with her friends and family. Her love of science, people and animals is what makes her a wonderful vet.

Melissa was born and raised in Southern California. She has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years. She lives in San Juan Capistrano with her two sons, two dogs, and an Egyptian Uromastyx. In her spare time, she likes spending time with her sons, being outdoors, and going fishing. She has a soft spot for possums.
Laurie is a California native that lives in Trabuco Canyon with her husband and 2 cats. In her spare time, Laurie likes to travel, and is an excellent baker!
A native to CA, Julie has been in the industry since her very first job in high school as a kennel attendant. She went on to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in college and worked as a Technician and Receptionist for several years at her local Veterinary Clinic. She took time away to raise her two children and is happy to be back in the industry doing what she loves, surrounded by a great team!
Olivia has been a vet receptionist/tech assistant for a little over a year now. She was born and raised in Southern California but also lived in Illinois for 4 years when she was younger. She lives with her boyfriend, Joe, and their two kitties, Cedric and Freya, who are absolutely adored. In her free-time she loves to read, journal, rollerblade, cook, and thrift with friends when she can.
Liz is a native to southern California and has been in the field for about 20 years. She lives in Capistrano Beach with her special needs cat, Myra. When Liz isn’t at work, you can find her fishing, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.
Gio was born in California but has also lived in Mexico. Gio lives with his girlfriend, and their two cats, Sushi, and Nour, in Mission Viejo. In his spare time, he can be found fishing, gardening, going to the zoo, and airsofting.
Allie was born and raised in San Clemente. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2020. She has a rescue horse, named “Willow” and 2 dogs, Maverik and Lilo. She lives in Dana Point with her husband and her daughter. In her free time, she enjoys working on horsemanship with her horse, jogging, and off-roading.
Jenna was born in Pennsylvania but mostly grew up here, in Orange County. She graduated from professional veterinary school in 2015. She also works at Costplus, enjoys hiking, English horseback riding, and yoga. She lives with her boyfriend, Adam, and 2 fat cats, “Patrick” and “Ernest”.
Natalie was born in Bellflower, but raised in Anaheim. She has been in the veterinary field for almost 3 years. You can find Nat and her chihuahua, Zoey, going to parks, and enjoying puppuccinos. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, cooking and perfecting delicious meals, and taking long walks on the beach.
Henry has been in the veterinary field for 2 years and is studying Biology at Mt. Sac College. He currently lives in Anaheim with his furry friend, “Orion.” In his spare time, he enjoys staying active, visiting zoos, reading, and spending time with his family. (P.S. Pandas Rule!)
CJ has been in the veterinary field for over 3 years now, and is currently in school studying Marine Science. Most of her free time is spent in the water, or hanging out with her beagle “Charlene the Banana Queen of Candy Mountain.” She loves to travel, and has spent most of her life moving all around the world. CJ loves sharks!
